II. Disinfection: Eliminate Bacterial Growth
New bottles must be thoroughly disinfected before use to remove residual dust and odor from the production process. After daily use, immediately disassemble the bottle, nipple, straw, sealing ring and other components, and use a special bottle brush to remove milk stains and dirt in gaps on the inner wall to avoid bacterial growth due to milk scale accumulation.
Boiling disinfection is the preferred method: put the disassembled components into boiling water—glass bottles can be put directly in, while silicone and PPSU bottles should be put in after the water boils. III. Milk Preparation and Feeding: Scientifically Avoid Risks
Before preparing milk powder, parents should wash their hands thoroughly and prepare disinfected bottles, nipples, and warm water. Control the water temperature at 40-50℃—excessively high temperature will destroy nutrients in milk powder, while excessively low temperature makes it difficult to dissolve. Use a water thermometer for accurate measurement instead of judging by hand feel. Prepare milk strictly according to the ratio specified on the milk powder instructions: add water first, then milk powder, and shake the bottle to dissolve evenly. Do not rub vigorously to prevent excessive bubbles that cause baby bloating.
Maintain a correct posture during feeding: hold the baby obliquely at a 45° angle, and tilt the bottle so that the nipple is fully filled with milk, avoiding the baby inhaling air while sucking, which may cause spit-up and bloating. Closely observe the baby's condition during feeding; if choking occurs, stop feeding immediately and pat the baby's back gently to relieve it. Clean the bottle in a timely manner after feeding. Do not store leftover milk for a long time—it can be kept at room temperature for no more than 2 hours and in the refrigerator for no more than 24 hours. Reheat thoroughly to lukewarm before reuse, and do not reheat repeatedly.
IV. Daily Maintenance: Extend Service Life
Regularly check the condition of bottles and accessories. Immediately replace glass bottles if they have cracks or damage; promptly replace silicone and PPSU bottles if they show aging phenomena such as yellowing, hardening, or deformation. It is recommended to replace bottles every 3-6 months and nipples every 1-2 months. Regularly check the elasticity of the sealing ring; replace it in time if there is leakage or aging to avoid milk leakage or bacterial residue.
Avoid using detergents containing fragrances and chemical ingredients for cleaning; choose baby-specific bottle cleaners, and ensure no foam residue after rinsing. Store away from direct sunlight, high temperature, and humid environments to prevent material aging and deterioration.
